The service

Reel Palate is provided as-is, free of charge, for personal entertainment. It helps you track your movie and TV taste through ratings, head-to-head comparisons, and AI-generated recommendations.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Reel Palate.

Your content

The content you create in Reel Palate, including your ratings, preferences, and rankings, belongs to you. By using the service you grant Reel Palate a license to use this content to provide the service (generating recommendations, powering your leaderboard, etc.).

AI recommendations

Recommendations are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude) based on your taste profile. They are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. The quality and availability of recommendations may vary.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
• Harass other users or abuse the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

Availability and changes

The operator reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. This is a personal project and comes with no uptime guarantees.

Limitation of liability

Reel Palate is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator is not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to the quality of recommendations or service availability.

Disputes

This is a personal project, not a commercial service. Any disputes should be resolved informally by contacting luke@lukeinglis.me.
